How points are earned
Reviews, 10 each
Tallied from the Star Search scorecard on TechConnect. Counts run cumulatively since the review contest launched in June and are credited in full.
Add ons, 5 each
Every add on logged at addons.almcoe.online with a service date inside the contest window. All 32 are still pending review.
Utilization, 10 per week
Billable hours over paid hours from the Climate Service Dashboard. Awarded any week a tech clears 90 percent. Three weeks are in play, so 30 is the cap.
Closed work orders, 10 or 5
Ranked against the service team each week. Top 10 percent earns 10 points, the next 10 percent earns 5. Weekly cutoffs are below.

Reading the data
- Service versus install. Every field employee carries the title Technician, so the split was made on primary line of business in the timesheet data. That returns 34 service techs and 33 install techs.
- Review basis. Review counts are running totals since the Star Search contest launched in June, credited in full by design. The sheet does not break reviews out by date.
- Names matched across systems. Benny Vindell resolves to Benito Vindell and Jeff Keith to Jeffrey Keith. Terry Mcdonell and Terry McDonell are one person, outside the window. Rocky Hill and Kamel Dowling appear in the add on table but are not on the active service roster and were left out.
- David Lopez appears twice on the Star Search sheet, under David Lopez and under Jesus David Lopez, at 2 reviews each. Confirmed as the same technician and merged, so he is credited with 4.
- Week buckets. Sigma buckets weeks starting Sunday, so timesheet data was pulled day by day and rebucketed Monday to Sunday to match the contest rules.
- Utilization basis. Calculated on all of a tech's hours, service and install combined, since utilization is a person level measure.
Concentration risk
Two techs carry most of two categories. Norman Jackson submitted 15 of the 32 add ons, and Peter Tormey holds 11 of the 28 reviews on the roster. Strip either out and the field behind them is tightly packed, with a dozen techs separated by 10 points or less.
